One year ago today, my friend April​ died.  Though we never hung out and only interacted via electronic communication after meeting at #otakon2012, she still became one of my dearest friends.  When I got very sick in New Jersey in 2013, she gave me someone to talk to on Skype while I was stuck at the beach house with the dogs.  After having a HORRIBLE day, she called me on my phone and we wound up talking for three hours straight.  She became the namesake & basis of a supporting character in my Power Rangers Samurai stories and the Pink Ranger of my seventh original team.  She loved the Baltimore Ravens​, The Walking Dead​, Shelby Cobras, The Fast & The Furious franchise, etc.  I still have emotional breakdowns when I think about her at certain times.  I just wish she & I got to hangout so I could have gotten some pics of us together.  But it feels like she's been watching over me because of what's happened.  Last year, I made the decision to name my future daughter after her.  And I also promised her mom Jackie​ to let her be an honorary grandmother to little April Raven.  I miss you my friend!
